We publish a state only after every regime, agency, exam, bond, and fee figure is checked against that state's own licensing board, so a stale number never teaches you a wrong answer. All 50 states plus DC are live: some run a full state general contractor license, some register contractors without an exam, some license only specialty trades, and some have no state license at all, and each page says exactly which. California remains the deepest page, with full coverage of the exams run by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) plus a free practice test.
